When V-carving in ArtCam Pro, you can go from file to file in a single session, and the Z safe height, and the material thickness stay the same.
Is it possible to also default the tool bit (as in PW), and also the sequencing?

No. Everytime you create a new toolpath you must select the bit. Considering the complexity and variety of toolpath methods available you may see it as a safety measure to make you think about what tool you need to use for each cutting scenario.

Thanks Dave.
It isn't a big thing.
Wonder why it defaults in Part wizard?
I also wondered why some things defaulted and others didn't

Mike,

What you can do though is save a toolpath or a group of tool paths (under toolpath operations icons on left or under toolpath menu). Then you can call up the tool path again using "load toolpath". After that, you select the vectors and calculate the tool path again in the new file.
This is a great way of storing tool selections, speeds, etc that you use frequently.

Jeff,
That is an open question. To better answer the question can you let us know what are you going to be doing with your bot?
