3D toolpaths and Turbocad

I see that when importing a DXF file, there is an option for translating a 3D DXF. I was thinking about purchasing the new turbocad for doing 3D work, but am unclear on how the toolpaths are generated.

Does anyone have any comments on the use of turbocad for this type of work?

Ed, I purchased the new T/Cv6 an noticed the 3D option, don't know much about it, but the program was a good investment! I also downloaded a copy of IMSI 'net-accelerator' to boot up your internet connection and it also speed's up the TurboCad programing. Rick
