Have you tried anything yet and what?

Can you post a sample?

What problem are you having?

Look like the FC command look for .NC file extension; you know that right?... if not change from .NCI to .NC

Mastercam has a generic shopbot post so you can output a .sbp file directly. Are you using Mastercam X or an earlier version?

If you ever looked at a nci file in mastercam it does not look like any g code i use a nci file only when i have a very big 3d file it lets me filter it down so it wont be so big and only use the nc file nci file won't work unclick nci and click nc you will be able to convert to a shopbot file thru the shopbot post for mastercam the one they have here works but i found a few bugs in it when you do engraving it wont lift and cuts into pcs. i fixed it i run mastercam every day at my shop here is what a nci file looks like below

also here some info below

An NCI file (*.NCI) contains all of the parameter information necessary to create a toolpath. It represents toolpath information in a generic or intermediate format. Sometimes referred to as the toolpath, this intermediate file simplifies post processing of MC9 toolpath operations into the various NC formats required by milling machine and controls. An NCI file cannot be used to directly control a machine.

I am using Mastercam 9.0. I have been able to export .nc file from Mastercam. Used FC command to do file conversion. Conversion failed. Error message as follows " Undefined Variable: Solid ( Solid Machining - MM. NC; 0 )". I have attached .nc file for review. File has been compressed for posting using 7zip compression utility ( much higher compression than standard zip file ). Is there a postprocessor readily available for MC9? Thanks, Eric

Did some digging on the internet and came up with a post processor for Mastercam. Installed and Mastercam outputs .sbp file. When I load .sbp file into SB control software, program does not recognize commands. I have attached a copy of the post processor. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

MasterCAM have a forum (http://www.emastercam.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?category=1) where you might (should) find help about this. But your reseller SHOULD help you on this; else than taking your check, he's there for that I believe...

Have you contacted SB support about it?
