Hello folks, I am new at this forum and expecting my prs standard 9648 to be shipped this week. I am ready (software wise) to work with my tool. My question is for the cabinet pros on this forum, what is the best way to finish vcarved melamine particule board..to end up with a professional finish. I am talking about primer, paint, lacker (on cabinet doors). to make the fine carving look good. Thanks, BOUBOU

Particle board is not a good choice for v-carving. Besides having to paint it because it is ugly you will loose detail in the carving because it chips out easily.

I have done something similar by covering MDF with vertical grade laminate that matches the rest of the melamine.
You can carve the MDF much better and smoother. Prime and paint with any good commercial system.
