Would it be possible to modify a ShopBot to turn it into a near vertical one? How difficult would it be?
See this for reference:

Does this thread (http://www.talkshopbot.com/forum/messages/7/4947.html) look familiar?
Or this thread (http://www.talkshopbot.com/forum/messages/7/731.html), and this thread (http://www.talkshopbot.com/forum/messages/29/451.html) too...

Gerald,
I'm very sorry for the "line noise"...I must have had a spelling mistake in my search string ;-)
But this raises another question. Is it possible to search in messages texts for an expression like "vertical table" and not be presented with hundreds of hits to "table" or "vertical"?
That makes me think of a feature for forums where, you can click on a button before you post a new message and it brings up similar posts.
Hi J-F!
Use "AND" (not "OR") along your search as for KEYWORD OPTIONS and use "Whole words" as for MATCH METHOD and select the right place to LOOK IN to suit your needs...

Hey Paco,
I know but, I would still like to be able to search for exact expressions. For exemple, on many search engine you can put a number of words in quotes. This will only retrieve exact match to the expression.
Anyway, hopefully the forum moderator will relocate this thread where it belongs.
Also, in my last post, I was so overtaken by shame and guilt that I forgot to thank you Gerald for the link references.
By the way Gerald, how did you retrieve those references?
J-F,
then use "Match case" option as CASE SENSITIVE...
and there's more options...

I did a normal search for spacemaker and then another search for vertical table in the "Subject Lines" (titles) of threads. The last link I found inside a thread.

Jean-Francois,
Did you get an answer to your original question about searching? I had no trouble searching for "vertical table" (you must use the quotes) which returned only exact expression matches. If you omit the quotes you get any match to either word unless you set AND for your [Keyword options:].

I have read all the old posts on this subject and have not found anywhere that someone is suggesting to rotate the Tracks that the v-grooved wheels ride on. If you rotated them both up then rotate the wheels on the carrige down to match the tracks this would allow you to have the machine almost verticle. The balancing the y carrige could easily be achieved like on a panel saw. I have no reason to want to do this but was intreiged by the thought.
