Hello.
Name is Scott Graham. You have an interesting tool there. I am currently considering 2 additions to my shop. The first is your shop bot. The second is the Legacy Ornamental Mill. View it and the items it can make at:
http://www.legacywoodworking.com/index.htm
I see that your mostly a surface oriented operation. I am wondering, other than x,y,z axis, do you have available another z axis that perhaps could control a spindle drive head, like a lathe? In otherwords, you could program the second z to turn a piece of stock between centers, at a certain rate, while the x or y axis moved at a certain speed, and with the proper router bit, could in fact re-create the 'spiral' effects available on the Legacy? Like rope, barley twists, fluting, beading, tapering, etc... ??? You know, you would really have my attention if you could do this. Then I would only have to buy one machine, and not 2, thus, saving money, AND floor space. I am already a computer nut, and have been servicing, and programming them for about 20 years+++ now.
If you have any information, photos, whatever, I'd greatly appreciate it.
Thank you,
Scott Graham
