Here are a few images, showing the use of two Drill Press Vise's for mechanical clamping on my 48 X 48 PRSalpha ShopBot.
The Base thickness on each vise is different, so I placed a common sized shim on each end of the vise's to make the "Z" surface level.
I also can use just one Vise to hold small (cube) blocks, like Baby Blocks, for Carving.
Also note that my keyboard is a wireless Bluetooth Logitech, that works great in the electrically noisy shop.

The vise's are bolted to the SB table using 3/8-16 UNC Studs threaded into nutplates under the table.
