I going to be cutting some small parts out of 6MM sintra. They range from 120 to 160 peices per 4X8 sheet. I've used onsrud 1/8 bits 52-040 and 63-763 . the up cut wants to pull off the vac a little and I just watch and manually pop it back down. Using the imperial motors Brady Watson shared in 9-15 vac. Any thoughts on bit choice. I also thought about cutting the sheets in half so i couldchange 1/2 sheets while cutting one end or the other. Any thoughts are greatly appreciated.

2 passes with "onion skin" as the last pass?
Bruce,
If you use a double fluted strait bit, you can turn the vac off and the letters will stay in place. The shavings left behind, hold the letters firm.
As I remember it's a 1/8" bit 10000 at 1.5ips. I'd run the travel a little faster if the letters are 3" or larger.

Thanks Joe.
The straight bit works great I found 15000rpm and 1.3ips 1/8 onsrud 56-612 works well for this.
