Raised panels using CR

I don't believe I've seen this idea on the forum. I've made a sample of a raised panel door by just cutting a rectangle in MDF with a plunge panel bit. It's simple and fast. The only difference from a normal raised panel door is that the corners are rounded. I like the look and I plan to use it for some shop cabinets I'm building for my basement and garage.

Anyone else tried this? What do you think of the idea?

That is the most standard commercial way of producing kitchen cupboard doors over here. Then they suck a patterned/colored vinyl sheet over it. All finished at about $6 per square meter.
