Probably not a shopbot topic-but possibly? I make some custom railings and posts and could have a job now which would include a bent section of rail (easement?) to join 2 sections of rail that will be about 4-6 " apart. The lower part comes up until it reaches the wall and I have to curve it sort of S shaped to meet the next piece which would be fixed to the wall. My first thought was to cut the rail in the moulder and resaw on my bandsaw and bend it. Has any one found an easier way? This may also lead to building 4 flights of open tread cherry stairs so I would like to find a way.
Thank you
Lorin

Try posting this on www.woodweb.com (http://www.woodweb.com) there are a lot of pro stair builders who visit that forum. You do not have to join to post a question or comment. A great resource site for any woodworker.
