I have developed a mount for the inexpensive harbor freight 3 HP plunge
router. Item # 37793-4HYC which Is on sale right now for $89.00
I you need a router with a .5" collet and good power, I can recommend
this one.
I have used one of these for several hours on my CNC table with no problems.
