I have seen those fancy displays that tell you AMP/Watt draw for your spindle but not for your 120V router. Well, I found something that will tell you just that.

It is called a "Kill A Watt" monitor and is designed to monitor "phantom" loads to help you save $$$ on your electric bill. Well, it just so happens to display AMP/Watt/VA and KW/H.
It is a great way to monitor the load on your on a router. For example, my 2HP Bosch 1617EVS router never pulled more than 5 amps on my last project cutting 1/2 ply in 2 passes at 5ips with a Belin Spiral O-bit.
I have seen the meter other places. You might try Target or Wally World.
