Has anyone made a successful brush system, blower, or other "cow catcher" to clear chips and dust from the rails?

It would be nice to remove the offenders before they become embedded deposits.

Good idea. I may make a modification and add a spring loaded small dia pipe cleaner to ride in the goove on the wheel as well.
