Editing probe generated files

I have a probe on order and while I am awaiting it I have a question as to what you can do - as far as editing - with the data file after probing is complete.

Is there software that will allow you to see an image of the file that was just created and can you edit it in, say Art Cam - or some other 3D software ?

Yes, it is in the ShopBot software. Press T then B. It will bring up a program called GGI that will convert a ShopBot probe file into a DXF surface, DXF points, XYZ coodinates or even a BMP image.
