My benchtop Bot will be delivered this week. I plan to buy a dust collector. How much horsepower is adequate? What are botters using for dust collection in a small shop situation? I don't plan to do heavy duty large volume cutting.

Phil,
If its just the CNC machine, with a 4" port, in theory you'll need about 400-500 CFM. At least that is what all the manufacturers use on a 4" port.
I'd recommend a cyclone, or something that seperates the fine dust from the air.
This page has tons of information:

I purchased one of the clear-vue cyclones, which does a nice job. I will have mine for sale within a month, as I've upgraded to a larger oneida machine.
Let me know if I can help with anything else.
Regards,
