Paco, Do you have a file for cutting the aluminum dust deflector mounted on your Milwaukee router? If you wouldn't mind sharing it I would appreciate it. I just ordered my Milwaukee today and I like the way your deflector looks. Thanks, Kip

Hey Kip!

Here is the original design; it was design for the PC7518 first then fit on the MK 5625. I'd suggest to oversize the center hole to say 0.032" to 0.0625" (total) since the MK chuck nut is bigger. I oversize with a die grinder... and I'd suggest to make the holding tabs longer (about 0.25" should be good); this will make a better hold with the hose clamp.

From the JPG; red is the part cutout, blue is the tabs cutout. I bent the tabs with plier. The longer holding tabs will help here since precisely bending those tabs is awkward... I've included an EPS and a DXF (zipped because of file size); let me know if they aren't suitable and I'll see what I can do.

5463 (3.5 k)

5464 (5.6 k)

I cut mine from 1/16" thick stock. The part is 5.125" diameter not bent. Oh, and you'll need to remove the plastic diverter that is on the MK.

Thanks Paco! I'll let you know how it works as soon as I get to it. Kip

Glad you find it useful. Any pix?!(Have you made any modification)

This air diverter is good enough but I believe that the one Steve M. is selling (for the PC 7518) could fit the MK 5625 too. It may be an easy solution for those who don't want to tinkle their own or are looking for a better air flow since my design isn't the best design for max air flow though it do the job.
