Shopbot Probe Help

I am just getting started with the probe and am a bit frustrated with the lack of a “manual”. I have a guitar body to probe for a friend...do I “zero” the probe before I start??? I am wanting to probe the shape of the outside as well as the contours of the top…can someone help me by giving me a step by step??? Thanks

Hey,

Don't know if you've found it yet, but there's help information available in the Copy Machine virtual tool [TC] by clicking on the Help button...the one toward the bottom of the Copy Machine form with the yellow question mark.

There's also some information on probing in the ShopBot wiki in the Accessories section. There's only basic information in there at the moment, but hopefully "Probers" will add to it to help fill in the blanks.
