Hello,I was just wondering what software is best for beginners.I use alot of Vectorart3d and like the vectric software, but to add text, you have to then import your machinist file into v-carve.
Thanks,
Ben

v carve pro is great. no a big deal importing files. I don't think anything else will let you do so much for the price. I do a lot of different parts using v carve pro it is pretty versatile.

If money isn't an object then Artcam is the other choice for making signs (big learning curve). For the money, V-carve is the best choice and you could buy Corel X3 if you want more design capabilities.

We use Corel Draw to design our signs, export them as eps files, and import them into Vcarve Pro to make cutting files for the shopbot.
