I'm just geting started in the sign making business and I' having trouble with the quality of my lettering. I'm using parts wizard and a 60 degree v-bit. The tops of the letters are jagged. Can anyone tell me what the problem is?

Jenifer, I can tell you what the problem is but not the specific solution.
The problem is you are just getting started.
Hence there is much to learn but be happy that whatever the root cause is, there is a very good answer and solution so.......
As Brady says, send more details on what you did, how you did it, what you are trying to achieve, and a photo of the results, and I'm confident you'll be flooded with helpful tips, suggestions etc.
After a while you'll feel like a pro.
This forum is the right place to get the help needed so don't be a stranger.
Good Luck

It would be good to know what kind of materials you are using, how big is the lettering, and what style (font)... among other things

With a little more information for us to go on I'm sure you will receive tons of information to solve your problem.

I can't get my pictures to download . I keep getting error messages that the kb are too many. I cut the signs I'm talking about out of sign foam and some out of MDF. I get the same results out of both. I'm using the 60 degree v-bit that came with the starter set from ShopBot.

Jen,
Try using the Windows picture resizer by right-clicking on a jpg file & choose 'smallest. It needs to be under 50k & 640X480 resolution.

Brady,

I believe the size is under 25k. I have tried over 25k but they do not take until reduced below that.

It's 50k & 640X480 & down now, but it used to be 25k and 400X400 limit. See test pic (http://www.talkshopbot.com/forum/messages/2641/17669.html?1169249556)...you'll get a kick out of it

Not sure that I have a re-sizer? Are you in a particular program when you right click?
