While at the Austin ShopBot camp, I was sitting around the table with a couple of OKies and we were discussing different modifications to our various machines.

I finally, asked the question. When does a ShopBot no longer be a ShopBot? How many changes do you need to make before it becomes something else? Does changing out the controller automatically make it an OtherBot or a BruceBot? Does changing out the angle iron for THK rails make it no longer a ShopBot? How about converting it to a giant ink jet printer? At what point does a ShopBot no longer be a ShopBot or is it ALWAYS a ShopBot?

Just wondering,

Bruce

Good campfire chat! I had not thought about this before...

Maybe,

A round candy with a hole in it is a Lifesaver - no matter what flavor.

A workSHOP roBOT is a SHOPBOT. - Blue and the associated design and electronics makes is a flavor of - Durhan, NC.... My favorite flavor.
