Hi all - Gerber's manuals and web-site have not been much help on this. Things have been going well in testing out my Dimension 200, but I'm now in the details. What should my feed and plunge rates be for 18 lb 1.5'' Signfoam 140 degree 1.25'' and 120 degree 1.25'' bit be? Where could I find a comphrehensive reference on this.

Try 60 to 90 IPM on move speed & 45 IPM on the plunge for v-carving. How come you didn't buy a ShopBot?

Jeff,
I check out your new website and it's looking very nice. Where are you guys located?
I've seen a feed and speed by Onsrud. You can find it at www.onsrud.com (http://www.onsrud.com) I believe it's up front by clicking at their front page.

Brady and Joe thanks for the info.
Brady - I'm a nubee to the sign biz. My dad passed away about a year ago and he enjoyed it so much I felt I would regret it if I didn't try and fill his shoes. He was a local legend in the biz. Fantastic scroll work, could pump out the work and was best friends with everyone that walked in the door. Needless to say I inherited a bunch of equipment I didn't know much about.
Joe - Wow someone checked out my site! I'll need to update it. I'm out of Watertown Mass about 5 miles west of Boston. All the work on the site is mine, but 50% of the designs were my dad's.
