Does anyone have an idea how long the blade will last, on average?

Q: How long will a knifeblade last.

A: The life of a knife will depend on the quality of the blade and also the type of material that you are cutting. E.g. with a good quality knife, cutting standard 2 mil vinyl, the knife should cut approximately 600’of 15” vinyl or 80 hours of continuous cutting, provided that it is not cutting into the paper backing.
