Sorry to dig up an old thread, but......:D
Found this one, and wanted to hear more about the fabrication of this triangle.
Very nice Joe.
John, it's easy work except for the size.
The frame was angle iron with DiBond background. I hoppered the surface with acrylic texture. To make sure the letters had a good base to set on, I placed a mask down for a smooth clean surface. The letters and tree were routed from Extira and sprayed with Sculpt Nouveau Copper. It was shipped to Frisco Texas.
One technical note.
I was very concerned there would be cracks with the DiBond seames. I epoxied supports in those area's of concern.
Thanks for the question.
J
John,
I was wandering how you found this old post. It prompted me to see some of the posts of the past but couldn't find any photo's. I know I've put lots of them on the forum over the years. Just wondering where they are?
I'd appreciate your assistance.
Joe
