Signs of the Times Announces the 2008 International Sign Contest
Last Chance to Enter!
Deadline: December 7
For three decades, Signs of the Times (ST) has conducted sign contests that have attracted, recognized and celebrated the world's best signage. That tradition continues with our 2008 edition of the International Sign Contest!
We've divided the contest field into 12 categories that encompass the full range of signage, from banners to electronic message centers to the "Unique Signs" category for those quirky creations that defy easy assignment.
The categories include:
Soft Signs/Banners/Inflatables
Commercial Sign Systems
Electric Sign Systems
Commercial Monument Signs
Electric Monument Signs
Murals/Supergraphics
Commercial Pole/Pylon Signs
Electric Pole/Pylon Signs
Commercial Building Signs
Electric Building Signs
Electronic Message Centers
Unique Signs
The entry fee is $25 for unlimited submissions through November 16, and $50 thereafter until the deadline. For more information, see the October, November and December issues of ST, or go online to www.signweb.com/contest (http://www.signweb.com/contest). This URL will access an entry form and complete list of rules and submission guidelines beginning October 24.
Winning entries will be featured in our March 2008 issue. The Best of Show honoree will receive a custom award. First Place winners will be awarded plaques, and all other winners will earn unique certificates of merit. All honorees will receive custom T-shirts and copies of the contest issue.
