I've only had my Bot running for a couple of weeks now. I've been vcarving some sign samples in MDO but the letter quality doesn't seem to be that great.
There are areas in the bottom of the letters it seems the bit didn't machine and left little peaks.
It seems the bit didn't overlap enough to make a nice sharp vcarve.
Any suggestions?

Sound to me like you have bad bits. I'd try cutting the same file with different bits if you have duplicate bits. To try to isolate if it is a bit problem. If it is I HIGHLY recommend:

I did my own unscientific comparison and this is the results i got by changing only the bit.

Robert,
A picture of the problem that you are having, along with what software you used, and information about the bit used (angle of bit, stepdown, speeds used, RPM etc) would allow others to make an intelligent assessment of what the problem is and how to handle it.

Check your stepover on the v-bit your using.... try .015....I had ridges in mine ,made the stepover smaller and they were gone
