SMALTS?

Does anyone know of a supplier of smalts on the east coast? I know it can be purchased through Letterhead on-line store but the shipping and time-in-transit can be a hassle some times.
I also own a copy of the book Gold Leaf Techniques are on the suppliers list he list QH&F in SC but it doesn't appear the site has been in use for some time.

Northern Hydraulics Retail Stores has 50 lb bags of "Black Beauty" sandblast media that looks about the same but WAY cheaper than "Smalts".
