I've been trying to create a simple and quick "Do Not Disturb the Bats" sign. I created the sign in VCPro and here's what I've got.
6109
Painting it quickly to look decent is another story. I used MDF painted black and that part did OK. I tried a couple of masking options including some of that kraft stuff and none end up with clean edges nor qualify as "quick".
I found some black MDO and might eventually get black MDF but I still have the masking/painting the vCarve area.
The ultimate solution would be something with a black face and white core. I'd only need paint the edges and seal the entire sign.
Is there, per chance, a material with black facing and a white core?
Ideas, tips, tricks?
