Hey Folks,

I'm looking for a source of the small plastic studs that can be depressed into wallboard to hang signs, banners, letters, or whatever else.

I've tried google, but I must not know the actual name of them.

Try Googling 'toggle bolts'. Here's a site that I found: www.toggler.com (http://www.toggler.com)

Mike,

Thanks.. That isn't what I'm after. I want them to be mountable from the back, and have a space between the wall.

Ryan,
depending on what you are hanging, 1/8 inch threaded stove bolts with the head removed, fitted with a 1/8 in inside diameter clear tubing will give you a stand off, for say pin mount letters.

Ryan,

You need sign makers "locators"- clear acrylic nipple that glue to the back of your letter and a plastic cup that you screw to the wall- nipple snap fits into cup.

I have these in standard and Jumbo versions.

If you get stuck I can supply you with a box

(if you need metal fixings have a look at one of our sites- www.signsupports.co.uk (http://www.signsupports.co.uk)
Cheers

Andy,

I think I'm on track now, but clear acrylic nipple on google sends me to some "choice" websites. Piercings, etc etc

Any idea of a supplier in the US, I thikn I've narrowed the name of the product down to pad mount hardware.
