Software Recommendation

Need some help. I've been using Partswizard, in conjunction with CAD software, for several years quite effectively to make cabinets. Now, I'm expanding at the request of a client to make a few simple signs. I'm finding that PW doesn't offer the versatility that I'd like. I want to V-carve more than just the few fonts that PW offers. Can anyone suggest a good software package that will expand from the capability of PW, but doesn't necessarily have all the bells & whistles that I don't need?

ArtCAM Insignia would be a natural transition from PartWizard. It is in competition with Enroute. Both are great programs from what I gather.
