Single Line Font

What, I can't understand is why it is so hard to find a single line normal block font. I can do some pretty fancy letter carving with this shopbot. But can't write some single line text in a board without fooling the machine or the software. I don't want it v-carved. I want to use a ball bit and make letter with a consistant width on the stroke. If anybody has found some actual single line fonts, that don't cost an arm and a leg. Let me know.

From this Forum. (http://www.talkshopbot.com/forum/messages/315/2792.html) Take a serious look at that simple freeware called DeskEngrave. "Stick40" that comes with DeskEngrave, is a single stroke font.

I have downloaded that too and also one at www.deskcnc.com (http://www.deskcnc.com) which contains Stick 40. Right after my posting. It will probably help out. But my point is something so simple should not be so hard to find. I have been to alot of font sites. Most have some selection of fonts but a single line font is just not something most people get too excited about. I guess, just guys like me. Thanks Paco and Gerald.

You might try a company called COSMI out of CA. I think the web address is cosmi.com or support@cosmi.com. I don't use straight line fonts but have used others and they have thousands of fonts; they may be a good source.

Thanks, I found one in my cad program. Typed it as a vector font, then export to Partwizard as a .dxf. I guess, I have learn that the simplest things are sometime the hardedst things to attain. Or to look right under my nose.
