PRS Alpha 96-60-8 rail attachment ???

So I'm to the point where I install the X-Rails and the manual calls out for 5/16 inch bolts and T-nuts. I need 22 bolts and I'm down to 11 so I dig through the boxes and find a "96E Rail Hardware Ki" which includes 24 hex head bolts, 24 T-nuts and then the confusing part, 24 flat washers 7/8 inch in diameter. What are the washers for??? I apologize if this has been discussed in the past but the forum search is down. Thanks in advance.

When I try to do a search I get "The search feature for this forum is disabled. Click here to return to the Discus forum." I may need to bypass the rail install and press on with the control panel as the electrician will be here Monday.

The washers really can't go anywhere in that area. The allen screws go flush inset with the rail that holds the V-rail. They won't fit inside where the t nuts go. You sure don't want to shim the rail with them.
