View Full Version : Tightening Rail Bolts and Torque
I don't have a torque wrench handy and I don't know the setting anyhoo. I'm afraid of putting too much torque on the rail bolts / t-nuts because the rail is aluminum. I'm concerned about damaging the rails if I used too much force to tighten. I've got a 4' X 8' PRSstandard if that matters. Any suggestions?

I am pretty sure that 18ft/lbs is factory spec for those bolts.

Thanks Brady, should this be posted somewhere where I can verify? I'm a little surprised this is not in the instructions. Although, I may have overlooked it.

I was told don't worry about it I wouldn't damage it...but that seemed a little careless to me.
