Plastic Shims

When I received my PRS Alpha, there were 2 bags of "Slotted Plastic Shims" but I can't find anything in the Assemby Manual that mentions them.

What are these for?

The shims are intended to be placed under the X-rails to compensate for any dips you may encounter when checking straightness of the rails with a straight edge. Typically you only need a few here and there to get a perfectly straight rail with no dips etc.
