I thought I would start a new thread as this does not pertain to Halloween.
I have found many files like this over the last couple of years. Some are complete and some are not. I will post more as I get time to zip them up and upload them.
I need to find a server to put them on. My pathetic website can't handle the load for long. I don't know if they could be uploaded to Project Wizard because its not my Intellectual Property, I believe them to be public domain but there is no way to be sure. I am going to post and share them as I found them until someone tells me otherwise. If anyone claims IP to these puzzles, I will remove them upon request.
I believe most to be designed for 3mm or 1/4" material. You can open the dxf file and move one of the slotted pieces to the top near your ruler and just measure the slot to find what size the dxf file was designed for. I have modified several to different sizes. It's not too hard in most vector softwares. I use Flexisign, but Coreldraw and many others would probably work just as well.
I have cut these 3D puzzles out of Sintra/Komatex, OSB, MDF, and even Coroplast.
I hope others will share also.
Here is one of a Blue Whale.
