What do I need ?

I want to buy a Shopbot but am unsure what to get and the options I need. (I'am a dummy} I want to do 3d carvings, signs,fancy chess boards with pices, ornate jewlery boxes. Can someone help me ?
Also is there a Shopbot in Mobile, AL area ?

Forget about the ShopBot for a while - start looking around at the software you are going to need. If you can design it, the SB will cut it. So figure out first if you can design what you have in mind to make. At very minimum, you must be able to print your design to a printer before a ShopBot (or any other machine) can cut it out for you.

There is a sign company in Bay Minette but I can't think of the name and I have looked for this guys name all over my emails. He has a ShopBot.

If you can't find him, you are welcome to come look at mine. I live between Hattiesburg and Jackson, MS so all you'd have to do is come through Semmes up highway 98 and get on hwy 49.
