Stephan,

I would suggest you contact James Booth. He generates excellent 3D files and also has a good selection. Although he's self employeed he also works for the Canadian Mint as a design consultant. I've used him on several ocassions and have found him very professional and pleasant to work with.

Stephan, Here are a couple of options - just click on the image and you will see the option for the dished version of the file:

HI Jamees
I like the eagel on the left , and I was already thinking of getting that on . The angel is where I would like one with out the instrument and maybe the wings spred out a little more . How much would it cost for you to make on for me ?. If I send you a picture once I find one that I like.

I spent almost 5 years reading this forum before I bought my shopbot. I spent my cold hard cash because of the sharing of information on this forum. I am having trouble reading the forum these days as the censorship of the forum grows. This forum was a big sales tool for shopbot to sale their product. Although shopbot might not make money from everything sold to enhance the tool, I would bet that they get far more benefit to dicussing aids or other non-shopbot products that enhance their tool than they lose business?

I will climb from my soapbox for now, Please do not start a heated discussion over this as it will probably not last the night anyhow?

One should not ask for, nor expect, business transactions to be on a public forum. Requesting and receiving price quotes is best done by private methods.

Dave, It's OK man, I agree with admin, Stephan just slipped and asked for a quote in the open forum. Not a big deal, but quotes and such should be handled in private.

Stephan, if you provide the image and have it converted, I would like to see the angel you finally get done. What it looked like before being converted and the final product. I've had a lot of interest in 3D work but no one has decided to lay down some cash to do the setup work. A police officer wanted wood badges done, but they don't want to pay the up front costs. I don't want to pay it on spec either.

Best way to get hold of me is through the web site http://www.carve3d.com. In my (not up to date) gallery you can see many examples of 3D work. These typically start from photos, drawings or vector files. For those interested I use ArtCAM Pro (and 12 years experience with it) to generate the models. Stephan I will email you offline. Thanks, James

I hate to be the "800 pound Gorilla in the room" but isn't the "shopbot items for sale" an open forum where people price their bots and other items for sale/want....whats the difference? I think if i read that X company had (a) item for (b) price it might make me think about buying it. Maybe his request should have been in that forum but i do think there is more censorship here than need be.
