I have been using Onsrud 65-025 bits for most all of my cutting of .040" .090" aluminum and also acrylics of various thicknesses.
Does anyone know of a cheaper source (of comparable quality) for this bit?
I tried some double sided spiral 0's from an ebay seller and they worked real good, but I only got 2. Now they are sold out.
Any leads appreciated.

those are not any cheaper if not a bit more.
MSC has had them on sale off and on. if you can handle 3/4" cut length only 27.00 from msc http://tinyurl.com/3tgua8

Erik, Great source. I think American Carbide is my new source. My issue with Onsrud is I really do want to be able to drill down on the site to find the bits with prices. Not look at pictures of their catolog sans prices. Since I have to ask I figure I cant afford it.
I know I am a whiney little brat,

I don't think so...the nice thing also is they are on the East Coast...at least for me so shipping from Mass to NY should only be 2 days ground.

John, I really don't have a price comparison for you, but I do know that I buy the Onsrud 0-flute 1 lip 63 series in 1/8" & 1/4" from Hartlauer bits for about $21 each.
I use them almost as universal bits, but came to them mostly because of the great job they do on acrylics plus they put little stress on the spindle when plunging.

hartlauer has some good prices. but if you need them fast msc can't be beat. I need to get more of them.

Ask Onsrud who your nearest dealer is. Mine often just drops by with mine and drops them off. Get a good discount as well.

Steve, fyi, if I get my order into Hartlaeur by 3pm, I consistently get my bits the next day. I guess it helps that they are in Corvallis and you and I are in Portland.
