Er 25 nuts are nto all of the same.

so far I bought one from msc and it is different the capture ring is not round it is smaller on one side of the nut. they will screw on part way then they get really hard. got another one off of ebay and the same thing. plus they are a bit taller.
what would you ask for to get the right nut?
