Hey Québécois!

I may have found a Trupan importer but I may have to buy the whole skid. Anyone in Québec interested?

This appear to be the ultimate stuff for spoilboard vacuum machine bed.

I don't have any minimal quantity yet nor price per sheet yet. I told the rep. that I'm in for 5 to get start and he's looking at it.

Let me know...

Paco , I am in Ottawa . I plan on using the Ultralite MDF which is available here . Have you tried that yet ? I know it's not Quebec but as close as I can get

Bill,

let me know how the stuff you plan to be testing do. I'm willing to try something else than Trupan but not in over a sheet or two; I think I would be more confident with Trupan...

Bill (and all),

I'm still desperately seeking for Trupan or a similar material for bleeder board purposes. Representatives aren't following up around here. I'll be starting an investigation in Ontario so if you have any relevant informations for me then let me know please.

Thanks!

Paco , I have cut several sheets now using the Ultrlite MDF and despite all the 'scaring' of the bleeder from the cutting I get great vacuum and do not thinking anything else is required . I get mine (3/4") from Richelieu but Commonwealth Plywood also carries it . The smallest part so far is about 2" X 24" Melamine . I use a downcut bit and get good results on the bottom edge as far as chipping goes also .

I use a 2 Fein vacuum source .
