Laser Scanning

Who is laser scanning vice probe scanning. How is that working and what brand scanner are you using? I know that Brady laser scans and has highly reasonable rates along with tremendous quality. I am interested in what the types are and the pitfalls etc. I know I dont want to spend thousands on somthing I'll use twice. But I would be interested to know whats out there.

I think its very ingenious. I don't know anything about laser scanning so I have no idea whats good or bad. I don't know how much model cleanup is acceptable if any. I am just trying to learn more about the laser scanning options. While I wait for my insurance company to cut my check so I can start over from scratch


Brady, do you use a home brew or professionally manufactured unit?
