Help on drawing

Okay I know I an doing something wrong but don't know what. Say I want to draw a saw blade. I have drawn a circle and have drawn a tooth to apply to the saw blade. I have joined the vectors of the tooth so it should now be one piece. I have highlighted the tooth and circle. I then go to the icon "copy object along vecors". I tell it to copy and for some reason the teeth copy along the circle but are backwards and upside down. I have to be doing something wrong but don't know what it is. Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong?

If your using "copy object along vectors", check the option to "align vectors to curve". The other thing to try would be to use "copy vectors in linear or circular array".
