I have a 4hp HSD spindle. Where should I be controlling the spindle speed? I've been using the up and down arrows on the front of the VFD box

If you have purchased the spindle control board, and it is installed, then you must set it up as per the instructions. If not, then you must control from the VFD panel. like most of us.

I think I'm in the same boat as everyone else. I'm guessing '16' means 16,000 RPM's etc., or am I completely wrong on that. I may have to dig through the manual on that one.

I'll need to run that program, I haven't done it. I'm curious to see what increment it's set at now/ what RPM's I've been using.

far better setting for rpms it's so much faster changing speeds. thats for you guys that have to do it manually (G)
