I'm told, that there is a procuct used by signmakers to aid them in painting a vcarved sign. As I understand it, you put a base coat of paint on the sign, cover it with a sticky vinyl, do the carving, and paint the incised letters. Then you peel off the vinyl leaving sharply painted edges on the letters.
What is this product called, where do you get it, and is it expensive?
