RBtoolsupply.com gave me a sample bit at the iwf and i have tried it and it works very good. They have 1/4" single and 2 flute compression cutters for 13.20 ea and 3/8" compression cutters single and 2 flute for 19.67 ea . From what i have seen they seem to be good at a good price. sale ends on 09-20. Hope this helps i have more on order

Thanks for the tip. Ordered 10 cutters for cutting melamine. Cheaper than re-sharpening.
They were very helpful on the phone too. They told me that they manufacture their own cutters.

I received the cutters, I ordered the 1/4" single flute. I used to use 3/8 single flute. For my PRT the 1/4" work a lot better. I can cut in one pass instead of two and have been able to increase the cutting speed to 5.5 inches per second. I am impressed!!

I will be getting my Shopbot this week! It's a used PRT48 with a router. I plan on doing mainly hardwod. Could someone tell some good basics to start with? Looking at RBToolsupply for compression.
