I'm curious if the cost of membership might be worth it for the likes of me - total beginner/ tx Nev

There are some enlightening videos and vector files. But he has not upgraded the site in a loooong time.

I bought in and it gave me a leg up in the beginning.

I agree with Danny,a good starting point if you can afford the fee.He has a lot more files available that he has not posted yet.

It was worth every penny to me. I was completely in the dark when I got my Bot 6 years ago and Ron had me making dust in a day or so. Money well spent. I'm not sure, but I think he's retired.

I signed up after I already had my feet wet, but it still helped to have a library of ready made images to cut and get ideas from. Ron knows quite a lot and if you need help getting moving, he's a good resource. If I looked back on it, I would have probably gotten moving quicker if I had access to Ron's server when I was first getting started.

Anyone tried out the 3d thing from Ron?

John I plan on just putting all the 3d files I made on the server soon no charge
I did not think after retiring it would be a full time job playing with my grandkids (-:
Danny good things coming very soon, you will be happy with what you see and for the short wait.
Just setup a mirror site to cover the load, now it’s 30% faster.
In the last few months I uploaded over 50 gigs of movies and am sorting them out for easy finding.
I plan on uploading every dxf and eps file I have, over 2 million +, just waiting to clean up the site and make room for what everyone wants is the hard part. So I just plan on uploading everything for the taking, this should keep everyone busy for months to enjoy until I can sort out my other drives.

Hey Guys...
I had him render a 3D file from a picture of a sailfish that I couldnt make with my software. I emailed it and had it back in .sbp format ready to cut in a few hours. The pic was from a scanned picture from an old sailfish tournament poster. Then he sent over dozens of movies on how to do it. He has a way of making learning the software easy. Here is the picture:
