I just got my shopbot running and the unit values are off.
Can anyone out there with a new Bot share their unit values?

Robert,
when you installed the software it asks you to select a setup file. Did you choose the right one for your machine? If it is a PRS you should have chosen one with PRS in the name. This sets the proper values. If you are not sure whether you set the right one you can do a reset with the UR command.

You can also just rest them using the VU command.

For a PRS they are:
X 2482.8171
Y 2482.8171
Z 2979.3805

Modifiy settings are all 5 for X,Y and Z

Those are the same values I have but the gantry doesn't move the correct distance?

When I installed the software it never asked me to select a setup file? I tried resetting them but got the same result.

I don't know what you mean about the Modify settings?

Robert,

Is your bot a PRS? or is it a PRT. They sell both.

If it's a PRT here are the values"

XY and Z 1273.2395

Modify XY and Z is 4

Modify is at the bottom of the VU page

You must have a PRS standard then.

That might actually be router dust. Soon you will be showing us all the great things you can make. Happy cutting.
