very cool. Are the stars painted or were they cut out and inserted in the "window insert"? Kind of like a stained glass window. Nice!

Thanks - Plastic parts are poured liquid plastic with color added - takes about 2 hours to set up - - looks like stained glass.

Very Interesting. Can you tell us a little more about the process and materials. What part does the shopbot play?

The shopbot cut out the wood design from a sheet of mdf board. The plastic is a liquid two part material that can be colored while in a liquid state - - it takes about two hours to set and about 24 hours to fully cure. Unless you touch this you would think it was stained glass.

Very neat! I would like to learn more about this product/process. Any chance you can post more information about the process like product, manufacturer, and/or application notes?

Jack, I like it. What is the name of the material for the plastic and where do you get it. I have done stained glass in the past for door inserts and your way has got to be easier.

I have two half circle windows in my living room. These "stained glass inserts" would be a perfect fit. What is the product for the stained glass? Who sells it?
