...on the PartWizard tutorial? It just struck me as I went back in to brush up on some skills. He has the copyright for the CD. My mental image of the narrator is now all out of whack. I can't get over the feeling that he's wearing a tux while he speaks.

I know how to cut all kinds of shapes: circles, squares, rectangles, polygons, etc. I just can't figure out how to get the SB to cut a simple straight line. I can do it on my other CNC, but not the SB yet. So I have my cup of coffee and a comfortable chair and my PartWizard tutorial. Tell me what I need, Brady. (big smile)

1. Draw the line in PW & use machine along vector to toolpath. Move start point to opposite end to alter direction of cutting path if necessary.

2. Use SB3 to tell the tool to start at a given depth & location and move to the desired end point.

PS - No tux during production. I wore a Spiderman costume.

I needed exact co-ordinates so all I could find in PW was the poly-line function.
