Paul,
I have made a couple of these and have plans to make more. The kit is available for 55 bucks or you can get just the plans for 6 bucks. If you like I have shopbot cut files and dxf's for the horse (I haven't tried them yet so they would be at your own risk) that I could send you. However, I would only send you those files after you send me a pic of your version of the plans. I want to do that to respect their copyright.
I really like this set of plans as it actually has some mass rather than just being a 3/4" thick cutout with a seat on it.

I have built a Rocking Cow and Goat from these plans and they are quality animals. I used 8/4 Pine, and they were very comfortable to ride.

While they are a little small for an adult, I have a great picture of myself with my knees sticking up in the air and sitting on the back of the rocking cow we built for my niece. It was about 15 years ago, and I was amazed that I was able to find the site for those plans after all these years.
When I lived in Seattle, I worked on a project with the local woodworkers guild and built a cow and a goat for a fund raiser for the Center for Wooden Boats, and the goat found a home at the Wooden Boat Shop on Boat Street. It was quite popular even with the adults. Wonder if he is still there?

Does anyone have a tried and true vector file for rocking chair rockers only ? I could draw them out but i cant afford to waste wood refining a set. Some rockers work well others dont, if you know what i mean. This would be for adult sized rockers. But if you have a set for a childs rocker, that would be good too.

Kirk,
I have been a fan of the Wooden Memories rocking animal plans for many years. I have built several of the burros, a goat, bull, gray mare and have a Clydesdale about 60% complete.
Here is a picture of Miss Virginia on one of my burros.

The picture of Miss Virginia was taken at the Guinea Jubilee in Gloucester County Virginia. Years ago we setup a portable photo trailer at local fairs and events and took pictures of children of all ages on our animals. Note the rocker was removed, you can't get a kid to sit still on a rocking animal long enough to snap a picture.
If I live long enough I would like to get all of my Wooden Memories animal plans scanned and converted to vector so I can cut them on my ShopBot.
Here is a picture of Clyde, a work in progress.
