Hiya.. I know it is a safety issue but is there a way to make the shopbot control software minimize on my desktop? I am constantly going back and forth through multiple softwares and I always have to close it in order to see what I am drawing.. Is there a way to be able to minimise it to the windows toolbar?

When I need to see a full size window on the control computer I just go into preview mode so I can have full screen for other programs.

Hope this helps.

Going back and forth between preview and cut mode is a pain and even then, it won't stay down. Here's (http://keir.net/bosskey.html) what I use. Depending on how you set it up, you can flip back and forth quickly with Ctrl-. (Num .)

Works good for me.

Another thing that works good is if your graphics card has a multiple desktop switching option like NV View for a Nvidia card or ATI has one too. Look in your display options.

You really need a seperate computer to run the shopbot. Just ahve the control software running on it and nothing else. this is the safest thing to do you don't want something going wacky while yoru cutting a part. it costs very little to have anotehr computer running just for the shopbot.
